NEW YORK, NY (JULY 20, 2020) — Wythe Hotel, the original boutique hotel in Brooklyn, and Industrious, the largest premium workplace provider in the U.S., today announced their partnership to convert a selection of loft-style guest rooms into private office suites for up to four employees. Spanning the historic building’s second floor, Industrious at Wythe Hotel office suites can be booked by the day and are designed to support maximum productivity while also delivering personalized hospitality in a safe, clean and welcoming environment. The partnership provides an elevated, novel option for businesses and their employees as they look for summer alternatives to working from home.

With remote work continuing indefinitely, there is increasing demand for safe, accessible workspace that offers on-demand flexibility. By leveraging a shared commitment to hospitality-driven experience and amenities, Industrious at Wythe Hotel delivers modern and productive office suites equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, private outdoor space, unlimited digital access to The New York Times, printing services, a smart TV, complimentary coffee and pastry services, and custom furniture outfitted for superior comfort.

“The companies that best navigate the future of work are going to be the ones that put choices in their employees’ hands, including the choice of where and how they do their job best. So we’re thrilled to partner with Wythe Hotel to offer more flexible office space that helps meet that demand, and meet it right now,” said Jamie Hodari, Industrious Co-Founder and CEO. “It’s an incredible location and we have no doubt that locals and travelers alike will love spending their workday in these gorgeous spaces. At Industrious, we think this is just one example of the types of innovation you’ll begin to see in our industry and beyond.”

All offices feature 13’ high original timber ceilings, oversized windows, cool concrete floors, custom amenities and works by local artists. Workstations combine these boutique furnishings with sit/stand desks and rexford desk chairs from furniture rental provider Feather, while contactless check-in allows for seamlessly safe entry upon arrival.

“Together with Industrious, we are offering remote workers a safe and comfortable place to be productive and escape the confinements of their apartments for a moment. Unlike working-from-home, remote workers can enjoy the benefits of a hotel like fresh beverages and snacks on-demand, coffee and pastry service and a delicious meal from Le Crocodile in their rooms or in our outdoor garden, ” said Peter Lawrence, Owner of Wythe Hotel. “Our approach to hospitality provides these workers with elevated service in a fresh, calm space.
By working in collaboration with doctors and nurses on-property during the shutdown, our staff is well-equipped to ensure that all guests are staying in a healthy environment. We are excited to partner with Industrious and look forward to caring for our new guests.”

Industrious at Wythe Hotel has also partnered with New Stand, the ‘day improvement’ company, to offer curated ‘productivity packs’ of snacks for each office suite, which include a combination of healthy sweet and salty snacks. Guests can also enjoy contact-free room service from the hotel’s The New York Times three-star brasserie Le Crocodile or head downstairs to enjoy a meal in the restaurant’s outdoor garden space.

During the shutdown, Wythe Hotel housed medical workers from Woodhull Hospital in Bushwick and NYU Langone Hospital in Sunset Park while a majority of hotels across the city remained closed. Armed with the essential tools needed to provide elevated hospitality in the age of COVID-19, this experience has directly enabled the hotel to safely welcome back guests.

Industrious provides productive and engaging workplaces for companies of all sizes and stages. Around the country, past and present Industrious members include: Cisco, Compass, Spotify, Heineken, Chipotle, Pinterest, and Salesforce.

Office suites are available now, and currently can be booked by the day through August 31. Rates, booking and all additional information can be found here.

About Wythe Hotel

Located on the Williamsburg waterfront, Wythe Hotel is Brooklyn’s original boutique property. Built in 1901 as a cooperage, the eight-story building has been meticulously converted into a 70-room hotel with a restaurant and rooftop bar. Williamsburg is one of Brooklyn’s most dynamic neighborhoods, and the best galleries, boutiques, bars, restaurants and concert halls are all within walking distance of the hotel. The guest rooms all feature 13’ high original timber ceilings, oversized windows, radiant heat concrete floors, seasonally sourced mini-bar offerings, custom amenities and works by local artists. Many rooms boast floor-to-ceiling views of the Manhattan skyline and East River. Atop the original five-story structure are three-stories of glass and aluminum that reference the hotel’s existing factory windows while dramatically pulling the building into the present.
