New Updates for the Industrious Mobile App!

Today, we’re excited to share news about upgrades we’ve made to the Industrious mobile app.

High level? These are two updates designed to make how you access Industrious spaces — and how you access the mobile app — quicker, easier and more secure.

• You can now use the mobile app to access Industrious spaces with electronic locks, instead of using your PIN code.
• We’ve added secured Face ID login to our mobile app for users with Apple devices.

To get started, you’ll need to make sure you’ve updated the app and are using the most recent version available. Read on to learn how to enable and use these features!

Set Up Your Mobile Access Key

Instead of using a PIN code or key fob to access your Industrious location with an electronic lock, you can now use the Industrious mobile app to open doors at Salto-enabled locations. Simply tap your mobile device to the keypad and voilá: instant door access.

This feature is available for both iPhone and Android devices, and is quick and easy to setup and use. Watch the video to learn how, or follow the instructions below.

1. From the Industrious mobile app home screen, tap the ‘Door Access’ button on the toolbar at the bottom.
2. A pop up will ask you to enable bluetooth for your device so that it is discoverable and allows door access permissions.
3. After pressing ‘Continue,’ another pop up will appear requesting you to log in with your Industrious member credentials. (This will be the same login information you use to access the Industrious member portal.) You will only need to log in to this screen on initial setup of your device.

Set Up Face ID on the Industrious Mobile App

You can now use Face ID to securely login to the Industrious mobile app when using an Apple device. The next time you log in to the app, it will automatically ask if you’d like to enable Face ID, but you also have the ability to enable this feature later from the settings menu.

For initial setup, you will be prompted to enable Face ID on the app’s login page, and you will be asked to re-enter your Industrious member credentials. (This will be the same login information you use to access the Industrious member portal.)

If you choose to enable this feature later, or wish to disable it, you may do so through your app’s Account Settings. Watch the video to learn how to enable this feature after initial login, or follow the instructions listed below.

1. From the Industrious mobile app home screen, tap the ‘Account’ button on the toolbar at the bottom.
2. Select ‘Face ID’ from the menu on the ‘Account’ tab.
3. Toggle the ‘Enable Face ID’ button.
4. Enter your Industrious mobile app password to confirm the setting change.
5. You’re done! Face ID login is now enabled on your device.
