Happy July my little firecrackers, and welcome back to Ask an MXM.
This month, we’re getting into the hot deets of a space that each and every one of you will likely need after your July 4th festivities: the Wellness Room.
Some of you may be asking, “What is a wellness room? Do I have one? Will it fix all of my problems?” While I don’t believe I’m licensed to respond to the last question, I’ve got answers for those first two, so let’s get to it!
Have you ever needed to:
- Pump breastmilk for your new baby in between meetings + have a cold, clean place to store it?
- Administer a medication that requires a little more finagling than swallowing a pill?
- Take a telehealth therapy appointment during the work day but didn’t want other members to see/hear your emotional breakdown over your childhood trauma?
Here at Industrious, we saw a real need to provide safe, private spaces for our members to do all of the above (and more), and that’s what our Wellness Rooms are for! Swipe through the carousel below to see examples of different wellness rooms in our spaces.
Every single Industrious location has a dedicated, reservable room that’s set up with comfortable seating, a small refrigerator, and a locking door. Any member can log into the Member Portal and secure their slot in the Wellness Room whenever they need it. It’s just like booking conference rooms, but without using any of your credits.
You heard that right! The Wellness Room is a stress-free zone, so we don’t want you to worry about burning through conference room hours — this one’s on us. 😉
Most businesses aren’t able to set aside a dedicated space like this when they’re building out their own office. We are so proud to offer Wellness Rooms to Industrious members, and we often hear our member companies talk about this room (and the safe space it offers) when they’re hiring new folks to their team.
