Industrious has announced its plans to expand its presence in Orange County, CA with a new location in Costa Mesa.  Industrious is partnering with EQ Office (“EQ”), the U.S. office portfolio company wholly-owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds, on its recently-announced CANVAS project. In addition to being the newest shared workplace location for the national provider, Industrious will also manage the tenant experience for the five-building, 538,000-square-foot campus.

Tenant experience management allows Industrious to bring the features, amenities, and programming typically reserved for members within its shared workplaces to tenants across the campus. Industrious will activate common spaces and curate compelling programming for tenants across all five buildings in order to foster a sense of cross-campus community and deliver a more productive and engaging workplace environment.  Industrious will also have a 30,000 square-foot shared workplace facility on the campus, which is expected to be open for business Q1 2020.

Located in Costa Mesa’s SOBECA neighborhood, within walking distance of dozens of restaurants, retailers, art and music venues, the Class A office campus comprises five buildings, spanning 538,000-square-feet, with an adjoining five-level parking structure. This is the second time EQ Office has selected Industrious as its tenant experience management operator; Industrious is also the shared workplace provider and tenant experience operating partner at Playa District, a six-building, 1.4 million-square-foot workplace destination in Playa Vista, CA.
