Industrious announced a new location in Downtown Phoenix: The Monroe at 111 West Monroe Street. The company has partnered with landlord ViaWest Group to take approximately 30,000 square-feet across the 14th and 15th floors. Industrious at The Monroe is expected to open Q3 2020.

“Industrious has witnessed strong traction across Greater Phoenix and is excited to be expanding into city proper,” said Justin Stewart, president and co-founder of Industrious. “Our existing members have been asking for a downtown location for as soon as we opened up our first Scottsdale location; there is a certain prestige that comes with having that address. That, coupled with the fact that Phoenix has a healthy, growing economy, makes Industrious proud to be adding a location here and we look forward to serving our newest members.”

The Monroe is an 18-story building located in the heart of Downtown that has become a favorite for technology companies and others that want a hip, energetic, cutting-edge environment. The relatively small floor plates of 15,000 square-feet enables smaller companies the ability to have a premier presence in a downtown high-rise. This has attracted some of the most dynamic companies in the Metro area such as Freshly, Integrate, and Solera Health. The tenant lounge, conference center, exercise facility, bike spa, on-site retail, underground valet garage, and other amenities make The Monroe one of the most unique buildings in the Valley.

“ViaWest is looking forward to our partnership with Industrious at The Monroe; it brings a national presence to recruit out-of-state businesses to office in Downtown Phoenix and allows local, high-growth tenants the opportunity to thrive in an ‘experience-driven’ atmosphere while they build their businesses and attract local talent,” said Danny Plapp, director of leasing for ViaWest Group. “Industrious’s unique platform sets itself apart from the competition and their decision to plant their flag at The Monroe only enhances what ViaWest set out to create at the property. The Monroe is going through a complete overhaul of the lobby that will create a sense of community and collaboration for its tenants. By the end of this year, Downtown will finally have that next generation of ‘lifestyle experience office environment’ tenants need to be successful in today’s dramatically changing office climate.”
